Invest in Cougs Overview & Maintain Your Good Credit

We will start this workshop with an overview of one of our other programs, Invest in Cougs. We review eligibility for Invest, the application process, and what the program entails. Then, we will help you understand the different types of credit available for you to borrow, the components that make up a credit report, how to understand your credit score, and how to reconcile your report if you find inaccurate information. You will develop strategies for building credit and knowing when to pay with credit over cash or debit. If you want to learn our top tips and tricks about building credit without going into debt, this workshop is for you.
